eBay Motors – Bulk Listing Upload Failure

For every feed that goes to eBay Motors, you will receive an upload report. You may occasionally receive a ‘Failure’ report. Below are some examples that will cause the feed to fail and how you may be able to resolve in Autopromotor.

– An incorrect vehicle type; Example; A Motorhome has been listed in Autopromotor as a car

To fix the above, access Autopromotor, identify incorrect vehicle type, update and save.

– An incorrect body type; Example; A van has been set as a convertible

To fix the above, access Autopromotor, identify incorrect vehicles, update body type and save.

– Missing colour 

– Missing mileage

– Missing price

-Missing date of 1st Reg

– If a user’s inventory has been inactive for 30 days their account will be deactivated until their inventory is updated.

– eBay also has a list of words that are not accepted, they are not widely known or available but we have found the following text being included within a vehicle description usually result in a failed feed;
